All I can say is YUMMMMM!!!! I am a newly converted (a year ago) fan of brussel sprouts. Roasted ONLY! Lets be clear. There is a reason so many people despise them. Boiled, braised no thank you! I cut up brussel spouts to roast them and when you do that a lot of the outer leaves fall off. You make these the same way you make kale chips. Heat the oven up to 350 F or 375 F for kale chips. Smear the leaves with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Can also sprinkle with garlic powder or other types of spice you like. Spread out on a cookie sheet pan and bake for about 10-20 min. The time really varies. It depends on the thickness and water content of the leaves. I also like them in between brown and green with a little crunch. But these can burn fast. Kale chips may take a bit longer than 20 min. They make a great snack. Today I am using them as a salad topper.
